Nowadays, solar energy is ubiquitous and the possibilities with solar really are endless. When most of us think about ‘solar’, we think about large solar panels on rooftops. But solar energy can be implemented almost anywhere!

Solar energy is a completely clean and renewable energy, harnessed from the sun and converted into live electricity when the power from the sun, reacts with the solar cells. Solar energy is able to power the smallest of gadgets, to huge commercial solar installations! Solar energy has come a long way and is now better than ever. People are able to reap the benefits of solar power with the latest and trendy gadgets and also by powering their homes or businesses and saving money on their electricity bill.

The solar power calculator was first introduced way back in the late 1970’s! Solar cells are mounted onto the handheld device and power up the device. The solar cells aren’t of the highest standard, as the calculator doesn’t require a great deal of power to work effectively.

Once the bin appears full and people are unable to fit more rubbish in there, the bin will crush up the rubbish inside to make more space for more rubbish.

 

 

 

 

The solar powered watch is so much more common than you may think. Manufacturers are able to create watches that are powered entirely by solar power without even having obvious solar cell technology on the watch. A watch that is solar powered will never require a battery change, so they are extremely efficient. Even when the sun isn’t shining directly on the watch, the watch will usually store energy in a rechargeable cell to power itself during the night or when covered by clothing.

 

 

 

 

 

The most common solar powered refrigerator on the market is the NASA-licensed SunDazer. It uses solar technology for power to act in a way an ordinary refrigerator would. The difference between the solar powered refrigerator and a standard refrigerator is that a standard refrigerator is plugged into the network grid, whereas a solar powered refrigerator is plugged into a solar-panel set-up.
