Only 4 sunrises until Australians go to the Polls and Cast their Vote.

Kevin Rudd is certainly the underdog at the moment according to news polls but he certainly hasn’t lost his bite.

The Labor Party has vowed to not turn its back on fighting climate change and won’t “cave in” by accepting the Coalition’s Direct Action policy.

Tony Abbott says Labor would be “committing suicide twice” if it tried to block his efforts to repeal the carbon tax. Abbott also says Labor would certainly lose a double dissolution in the Senate.

Mr Abbott conceded the Opposition Direct Action policy might not succeed in cutting greenhouse gas emissions by the stated aim of 5% by 2020.

Either way, vote Liberal or Labor this Saturday, one thing is for sure. Electricity prices are rising and ordinary Australians need to safeguard themselves against it.

Solar and renewable technology is advancing further every year and production costs are getting cheaper and cheaper. Is solar the key that Kevin Rudd is looking for in his fight against climate change?
