Further to the Solar Rebate, homeowners can also take advantage of Solar Victoria’s (optional) Interest Free Loan. If you choose to utilise the loan, it will account for the equivalent amount of your rebate up to $1888. As advertised the Loan is 100% interest free and the monthly repayment amount can be paid using the savings the solar system generates, meaning the household does not need to find extra cash to service the loan repayments.
The Rebate and Loan combined can reduce the upfront cost of going solar by up to $3776, which makes it extremely easy to make the change to clean cost effective solar power today.Some customers have even been able to install solar for $0 upfront!
For households that are ready for a total energy solution and want to install a battery to store excess power generated by their existing Solar System, Solar Victoria is now offering a Battery Rebate valued up to $4838! This rebate is available to households that meet the criteria stated above, as well as living in one of the eligible postcodes which are listed on the Solar Victoria website.
