Solar for Businesses Program is an initiative designed to support Victorian small businesses to reduce their energy costs by accessing the advantages of renewable energy.15,000 solar PV rebates are available over the next 3 years!
This program will help small business by reducing the upfront cost of your installation.
The rebates cover up to 50 % of the cost of the rooftop solar system and are capped at $3,500.
Until all the rebate from 2020-2021 have been allocated,Solar Victoria rebates stand at $3,500, then they will be up to $1,750.
The net cost of your solar system is $5,000 the rebate value is $2,500
The net cost of your solar system is $10,000 the rebate value is $3,500
This program is accessible for all installations up to 30kW DC.
All entity types, including charities and not-for-profit organizations, are eligible for this program.
You are eligible if:
- You are the owner of a business that employs at least one person, not including yourself
- You have less than 20 people employed
- You are working from non-residential structures
- You are operating from an individually metered spot
- You have not previously received a Solar for Business rebate
- Your system must be installed by a Solar Victoria approved solar retailer as detailed on Solar Victoria’s website
- Your Solar System capacity is under 30kW
- The products of your system are endorsed on the Solar Victoria approved product list
