Project Summary
Plenty Valley Christian College (PVCC) is a rapidly growing school, with increasing enrolments driving higher energy usage each year. To stay ahead of demand, PVCC partnered with Energis to install a 195.25kW solar system and expand its existing capacity.
The system was delivered under a financing arrangement that makes it cashflow positive from the outset. The value of monthly solar generation is greater than the repayments, which means PVCC benefits immediately while also securing long-term savings.
As part of the project, a battery system was installed and connected to the school’s server infrastructure. In the event of an outage, the server can draw on stored solar power to maintain continuity. PVCC also installed an EV charger at the back of its stadium, taking a first step towards supporting electric transport on campus and building a more sustainable future.
Energis took the time to present a solution that addressed both our growth and our budget. Their financing model showed us how the system could be cashflow positive immediately and that gave us confidence we were making the right choice.
