Energis welcomes De La Salle College as a sustainable school after installing a 99.36kW solar PV system at their Tiverton campus. As part of their ongoing green initiative, the Catholic Boys’ College, located in Malvern, chose Energis as their smart energy solution provider. In recent years, we’ve seen a spike in the number of schools becoming sustainable with the main drivers being to create a better environment for future generations, save hundreds of thousands of dollars in utility costs and grow education around renewable energy.
Founded in 1912, De La Salle College holds a rich history and has earnt its title as a progressive organisation by valuing the importance of change – this time in the ways of its energy consumption. When it came to choosing a supplier for their solar, De La Salle College looked to engage a team of renewable energy specialists that could design, supply and install the most suitable system for their energy needs. Energis was the obvious choice.

Having worked with private, public and Catholic schools across the state, we could address the importance of completing the installation with little to no interruption to students’ education and class schedules – the engagement with De La Salle was no different.
Since installing the system, De La Salle College has been able to reduce its energy bills by approximately one-third, resulting in a payback period of around six and a half years.
