Reduce Your Energy Bills and Take Advantage of the Solar Homes Package
Eligible homeowners who have not yet redeemed any Solar Victorian rebate can take advantage of either the Solar PV System Rebate or the Energy Storage Rebate to reduce the investment in renewables for your home.
Currently, there’s a rebate of up to up to $1,400 for solar panel (PV) system installation, for homeowners and rental properties plus the option of an interest-free loan.
There’s also a rebate of up to $2,950 for energy storage system installations.
Already redeemed the Solar Hot Water Rebate? You can now redeem the Solar PV rebate too!
Start from mid-May 2022, new and existing solar hot water customers will be able to apply for the solar PV rebate. Contact Energis for solar PV quotes and assistance with the application process.
*Are you eligible?
Victorian households are eligible to receive a rebate for installing a solar PV system or energy storage if they meet the following criteria:
- you are the owner-occupier of the property
- the owners have a combined household taxable income of less than $180,000 per year
- you have not already received a solar or solar battery rebate as an owner-occupier under the Solar Homes Program (not including the solar hot water rebate)
- it is an existing property, valued at under $3 million
- the property address has not previously taken part in the Solar Homes Program
- they do not have an existing solar PV system*
