This Solar Victoria Small Business Rebate will support following installations from May – December 2021

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for the above programs, you need to satisfy the following criteria:
- You are the owner of a business that employs at least one person, not including yourself
- Have less than 20 people employed
- You are operating from a non-residential structures
- You are operating from a individually metered spot
- You have not previously received a Solar for Business rebate
- Your system must be installed by a Solar Victoria approved solar retailer as detailed on Solar Victoria’s website
- The capacity of your Solar System is under 30kW
- The products of your system are endorsed on the Solar Victoria approved product list
How to apply?
If you are eligible for the Solar Victoria Homes Package program, you can start your application by finding a Clean Energy Council (CEC) approved retailer and contact them to obtain a quote.

Your chosen solar retailer will submit your quote to the Solar Victoria Portal to check your application for eligibility.
You will be issued with an eligibility number after your application is successfully completed.
After that, you must provide your eligibility number to the CEC approved solar retailer of your choice, to confirm that they can start to prepare your installation.
Please note that the Solar Homes package will not consider an application of eligibility or rebate if you have already signed a contract or processed an installation with your solar retailer without submitting an application of eligibility.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

HIGH STANDARDS
When you buy solar from a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer, you can be assured that you are buying a quality product from a company that follows all relevant consumer protection laws and is prepared to back the operation of your solar system for at least five years. The code also has strict requirements that companies must follow in pre- and post-sale activities, documentation and general business practices.
WHY THE CODE?
The Clean Energy Council established the Solar Retailer Code of Conduct in 2013 on behalf of the solar industry to improve customer service and industry standards. The Clean Energy Council already upholds industry standards for solar installations through its installer accreditation program.
The establishment of the Solar Retailer Code of Conduct means that the solar retail sector will also be monitored, and in particular companies that engage in misleading or poor sales and marketing practices.
